Police widen search for Colchester murder weapon

Police in Colchester have widened their hunt for the weapon used in a frenzied attack on a vulnerable man.

James Attfield, 33, from East Bay in Colchester, was struck down in Lower Castle Park early on Saturday morning - he suffered 102 knife wounds before he died.

Detectives are still struggling to find a motive for the attack.
