A 25-year-old man has been convicted of murdering his former partner at her home in Colchester.
Mark Czapla stabbed 23-year-old Kirsty Humphrey to death in her lounge in Queen Elizabeth Way.
Czapla did not give evidence but a jury found him guilty.
He is due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court tomorrow.
