Murder victim's partner still 'severely traumatised' by what she saw

Three teenagers have been convicted of the murder of Sharif Demirsay in his own home near Bedford.

His family say his partner who witnessed the attack, is still "severely traumatised."

In a statement, the family of Mr Demirsay said: "The past 11 months have been an horrific ordeal for us all. This incident has had a devastating effect on so many lives. This was an unprovoked attack on an elderly couple who should have been safe in their own home."
