'Time for heroes' as Norwich prepare for crunch relegation clash

Norwich City's new manager Neil Adams says he is ready for the club's crucial game at Fulham on Saturday.

The former Canaries winger was appointed on Sunday after the sacking of Chris Houghton. Adams says that after three days with the players he now has a plan to ensure the Canaries survival in the Premier League and that they will be ready for all the remaining five games of the season

Current Norwich winger Robert Snodgrass says he's ready to go to war for Norwich on Saturday as his side aim to preserve their status in the top flight.

Snodgrass said: "It's a time for heroes. I want to be that person. I want to be the person that keeps Norwich in the Premier League. I want to be part of that. I don't want to be part of a side that gets relegated."

Reacting to that, Adams said: "It's that mentality we need without a doubt. We're in trouble. If not heroes, we're going to need people who are willing to give everything. That's the spirit, the desire and the determination that these supporters deserve."
