Police in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire are taking part in a Europe-wide crackdown on speeding this week.

Officers in unmarked cars will be out in force across the three counties armed with speed guns.

Speeding is one of four offences known to increase the chances of having a serious or even fatal crash on our roads - along with using a mobile phone, not wearing a seatbelt and drink driving.
