Inquest hears actress died from accidental injury

A coroner has found that the 1940s movie star Jean Kent died from accidental injury after falling at her home in Suffolk.

Last November the retired actress was found unconscious in her house in the village of Westhorpe. She was taken to hospital but died 2 days later.

During the height of her career she was one of Britain's best known actresses. But it was her love of Suffolk that kept her grounded and helped her resist the glamour of Hollywood.
