Officers were called at around 11.25pm last night after reports of trouble at a house.
"On arrival at the scene a 20-year-old male was found with serious injuries. He was taken to the James Paget hospital for treatment, but sadly died a short while later. As a result of initial police inquiries, four males have been arrested in connection with the incident."
The victim was found in a property on The Glebe on the North Sea coast.
Forensic examinations are taking place at the scene and officers are speaking to witnesses and carrying out house-to-house inquiries.
