Stevenage have extended the contract of highly-rated winger Luke Freeman as they prepare for life in League Two.
The club have triggered a 12-month option to keep the 22-year-old, who attracted interest from The Championship in January.
Midfielder Dean Parrett, who's currently sidelined with a serious knee injury, has also been handed a new deal, as has Roarie Deacon.
Meanwhile, Filipe Morais, Luke Jones, Peter Hartley, Simon Heslop, Marcus Haber and Sam Wedgbury have all been allowed to leave.
