Journalists waiting outside the Northampton home of a couple facing extradition to America called police when they didn't answer knocks at their door.
Paul and Sandra Dunham were due to fly to the US to face charges of fraud and money laundering. They deny the allegations.
When police arrived they were forced to break into the property. Ambulances were then called to take two people inside the house to hospital.
