Youngsters from a Suffolk school have been doing their bit to help clean up Aldeburgh beach.

Children from Benhall St Mary's Primary in Saxmundham found 13.8kg of rubbish when they started their clean up.

The litter pick formed part of the children's work on coastlines and they wanted to find out how big an issue litter was.

Among the trash collected was 135 fish forks, countless cigarette ends, piles of ketchup packets and a pair of pyjamas!
