Endangered tiger cubs turn one

It is a special day at Banham Zoo near Thetford, it is the first birthday of a pair of endangered Amur tiger cubs.

Yeva and Xenia were born at the zoo as part of an international breeding programme and have been a huge hit with visitors ever since their birth.

The cubs will stay at the zoo for about another year but will eventually be sent to other zoos around the world to assist in efforts to conserve the endangered species.

It is believed there could now be fewer than 400 Amur tigers left in the wild.
