A couple from Hertfordshire are set to bring their wedding plans forward after winning nearly £800,000 on the lottery.
Insurance manager, Lesley Blackman, 40, from Ware, found out about the win while manning a car boot stall with fiancé Matthew McCarthy.
The pair experienced a surge of generosity and sold everything for £1 an item to make £150 on top of the £799,255 jackpot share.
Lesley said: “I really couldn't concentrate for the rest of the day and just kept telling everyone that everything was a pound so I think some bargains were had.
“We have been planning to get married for a while now with a small gathering of family and friends in Lake Como, Italy, but we weren’t able to afford it. With this win we’ll still have exactly the same wedding but we can now set a date sooner rather than later.
"I’m so happy, I can’t wait to organise it."
Lesley is also hoping to buy a horse to rekindle her love of the animals and start riding again.
Her winning numbers were 5, 10, 16, 23, 31 and 44 and she won a share of the £4.79 million jackpot.
