Little girl who died in Hadleigh accident was just three

Police have confirmed that a little girl who died in a collision with a car in Hadleigh in Suffolk was just three-years-old.

Emergency services were called to Canterbury Gardens just before 6 o'clock Tuesday June 17.

It's thought the girl may have been riding a toy scooter when it happened. She was taken to Ipswich Hospital but died shortly after. The driver of the vehicle is being treated for shock.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen what happened, who hasn’t already spoken to officers, to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police by dialing 101, quoting CAD 363 of today, Tuesday 17 June.
