6 year jail term for Bedfordshire drug dealer

A 25 year old man who fled abroad after evading arrest on drugs supply offences has been sentenced to 6 years in prison at Luton Crown Court.

Mohammed Aleem, formerly of Ford End RoadBedford, disappeared during an investigation into an organised crime gang.

He went to Pakistan, but recently contacted detectives saying he wanted to come back and face the consequences.

He pleaded guilty in April at Luton Crown Court to conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
