West Suffolk MP Matthew Hancock is campaigning to prevent the closure of Mildenhall Stadium.

The Supreme Court has ruled in favour of two local residents who claim they have been affected by noise at their home as a result of the stadium, which stages speedway, greyhound and stockcar events.

The stadium owners now face a legal bill worth up to £2 million which could force the closure of the venue.

Mr Hancock says he has raised the issue with theSecretary of State for the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
