A Suffolk man will be sentenced today for the murder of his friend. 50-year-old Andrew Turner from Mildenhall stabbed Paul Bone, also from Mildenhall, to death in December 2013.
A Post Mortem examination revealed Mr Bone died from a single stab wound.
The Jury heard how the two men had been friends and had met up for drinks at Turner's house in the run up to Christmas.
As the night progressed an argument began, ending up with Paul Bone being stabbed.
Detective Inspector Kevin Hayward from the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team said. "This was a tragic incident where a night of celebration just before Christmas led to an argument between two friends that resulted in one losing their life."
Andrew Turner will be sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court.
