Luton Town have signed veteran striker Paul Benson on a permanent deal.
The 34-year-old spent last season on loan at Kenilworth Road, and was released by parent club Swindon Town earlier this summer.
He's agreed a two-year contract.
Benson's Luton record
- Scored 18 goals in 38 Conference games.
- Finished as Luton's second top scorer, behind Andre Gray (30) who has since moved to Brentford.
Speaking to the club's official website, Benson said that he was happy to secure his future.
"It’s good to finally get the contract sorted. I’m looking forward to an exciting season for me and the club.
I think we have the players here to really push on and challenge at the right end of the table.
If we take the momentum from last season forward I really do think we have a real chance of going up again."
Meanwhile, the Hatters have also signed two young players following successful trials.
Left-back Mark Onyemah has put pen to paper on a two-year deal from Thurrock, while 24-year-old striker Charlie Walker has joined from Peacehaven & Telscombe.
Walker scored 43 goals for the non-league side last season.
Luton defender Steve McNulty has also committed his future to the club, signing a new two-year contract.
