Norwich City have rejected an offer from QPR for midfielder Leroy Fer, according to reports in London.
West London Sport says that Rangers have seen their initial bid rebuffed, but are likely to return with an improved offer.
Fer is still on holiday after starring for Holland at the World Cup, and Canaries boss Neil Adams has previously stated his desire to keep the 24-year-old at Carrow Road.
However, QPR manager Harry Redknapp is a known admirer of Fer and admitted his interest in the player earlier this week.
'He's a good player. You don't play in the Dutch team if you're not a good player.
If he's available I'm sure plenty of people will be interested."
