Norwich City Council is considering whether to ban skateboarding in the city centre.
There have been some complaints that skateboarders are damaging the war memorial near the market place by performing jumps and stunts on it.
If approved, the council would create a bylaw that means anyone caught boarding in certain areas would receive a police caution.
"We see skateboarders about all over the place, but do we need to ban them all over the city?
That is one of the things we are asking members of the public to decide.
So we're consulting with the public, shopkeepers, skateboarders and the church and everyone to see where we go next "
