A former Suffolk dance teacher who went on to find fame as a presenter on American television, has been shot dead at his home in Louisiana.
Before leaving Bury St Edmunds, Scott Rogers ran a controversial dancing school, described by authorities at the time as having an "unhealthy atmosphere similar to a religious cult."
It's believed he was killed by his son-in-law Mathew Hodgkinson, also his former lover, who then tried to kill himself.
"This looks to be a murder and attempted suicide.
Rogers was found with a single gun shot wound to the head and Mathew was on the floor with a gun shot wound to the head."
