ITV's new crime period drama "Granchester", which was filmed around Cambridge over the summer, finally hit our TV screens last night.
The 1950s themed drama has big names such as Robson Green, James Norton and Tessa Peake-Jones.
The author of the books which inspired the series, James Runcie, was born in Cambridge and he told ITV News Anglia that it was difficult to handover his characters to a script-writer.
"It's very very weird and I can't possibly judge, they're mine and they're not mine, you have to give them away, they're like children, you have to let them grow up."
