Skydiver made 'error of judgement'

The British Parachute Association says a man recovering in hospital after a skydiving accident in Cambridgeshire made an 'error of judgement' while landing.

The skydiver who is in his 30s, was an experienced parachutist. The association says although this kind of incident is uncommon, experienced skydivers can still occasionally make mistakes.

The accident happened at Sibson Airfield north of Peterborough on Saturday lunchtime.

The man suffered multiple injuries. The airfield declined to comment on the accident.
