Gordon Wilson Credit: Essex Police

Members of the public are being invited to join Essex Police officers today, in a further search of the Halstead area for missing Gordon Wilson.

A man fitting Mr Wilson's description got off the number 352 bus in Halstead on Sunday October 25 and walked in the direction of Butler Road.

Gordon, who has vascular dementia, was last seen by neighbours near his home in Leaden Roding near Dunmow at about 11am on Sunday, October 25.

His ill health means he can become confused and have difficulty speaking.

Police believe he took the number 59 bus from Chelmsford Bus Station on the day he went missing.
