Communities across the region will hold events in memory of MP Jo Cox a year on from her murder.

The MP for Batley and Spen died after being shot and stabbed during the EU referendum campaign.

Now, a foundation set up in her name has organised The Great Get-Together to celebrate the things people have in common.

Street parties, coffee mornings and sporting activities will be held over the weekend of the 16th to the 18th of June.

Events have already been planned in places including Cambridge where she was a student.
