Prince Charles has described his pride at being part of a remarkable military family.

The Prince of Wales was in Colchester to mark the 40th anniversary of his role as Colonel-in-chief of the Parachute Regiment.

The Royal guest inspected some of the hundreds of soldiers who make up the regiment and even got the chance to drive an armoured vehicle.

It was also revealed that his younger son, Prince Harry, had a aptitude for sky-diving after jumping with the Red Devils.
