Cyclist fighting for life after Bedfordshire crash

A cyclist is fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Bedfordshire on Saturday.

The crash happened at about 12.20pm at Hatley Road at Potton, near Sandy.

The man was air lifted to hospital with what police have said are life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for the occupants of a blue car with learner plates - believed to have been driving along the road just before the crash - to get in touch.

One man has been arrested and investigations are on-going
