Luton superstore fire was started accidentally

A fire that badly damaged an Asda superstore in Luton was started accidentally

A fire that badly damaged an Asda superstore in Luton earlier this year was started accidentally during repair work that was being carried out to the roof.

It took over a hundred firefighters several hours to battle the fire in Asda's Wigmore Lane store in March.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has now confirmed its investigation shows the cause of the blaze was accidental.

The superstore is still closed.
