Peterborough United have signed former Swansea City defender Liam Shephard following a successful trial.
The 22-year-old was released by the Swans earlier this summer and spent last season on loan at League Two side Yeovil Town.
Shephard, who has represented Wales under 21s, has agreed a two-year deal at the ABAX Stadium and becomes their seventh signing of the transfer window.
Liam is a good lad and a good character, he has bought into everything in the last few weeks and that was extremely important.
He can operate in a couple of different positions and I am really happy that we have been able to get it done.
We look at the last-minute business done on deadline day as the summer transfer window slammed shut.
Norwich City have had a bid accepted by Newcastle United for centre-back Grant Hanley.
Luton Town have sold striker Isaac Vassell to Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee.
