Concerns have been raised about whether plans to improve the A47 will go ahead.

The government has earmarked £300 million pounds for improvements due to be completed in the early 2020s.

A new consultation on the plans is due to start next week but some campaigners are concerned the government has over promised and won't be able to deliver.

Four of the six schemes are in Norfolk including:

  • Dualling between North Tuddenham to Easton
  • Dualling from Blofield to North Burlingham
  • Improving the junction with the A11 at Thickthorn
  • Improving the Great Yarmouth junctions including the Vauxhall roundabout.
