A man and woman have been killed in a road crash on the M1 in Northamptonshire.
The pair were the driver and passenger of a car which collided with a transporter vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
The transporter had smashed through the central reservation between junctions 14 and 15 near Northampton on Monday afternoon.
Several other people were injured and vehicles damaged as a result of the collision.
The M1 re-opened at around 4.50am on Tuesday morning after the carriageway was cleared and repairs made to the central reservation.
