Norwich City's in-form youngster James Maddison has been named in the England U21 team for the first time in his career.
Alongside Maddison, goalkeeper Angus Gunn has also been named in Aidy Boothroyd's side that will take on Ukraine in a 2019 European U21 Championship qualifier.
Scoring three goals in his past seven games Maddison has become a vital part of Daniel Farke's side this season.
Maddison signed for the Canaries in January 2016 for a rumoured fee of £3.5 million from his boyhood club Coventry City.
The Young Lions will take on Ukraine U21s in Kiev on Friday, November 10th.
