Nitrous oxide gas canisters stolen from Ipswich hospital

Twelve gas canisters containing concentrated nitrous oxide have been stolen from the grounds of Ipswich Hospital.

Police say they were stolen earlier this morning at around 4.40am (Saturday 2 December).

The canisters contain the anaesthetic gas nitrous oxide which could be harmful and potentially lethal if inhaled/ingested by members of the public.

Police have released a description of the canisters and the suspects.
