Family pay tribute to teenager killed in Boxing Day crash

The family of a teenager killed in a road crash on Boxing Day say he was "beautiful inside and out".

18-year-old Jake Paxton from Bury St Edmunds died as a result of his injuries at Addenbrooke’s Hospital on Wednesday 27 December.

He was a passenger in a crash involving two cars in Rougham at 9.30pm on Tuesday 26 December.

"We as a family are devastated that Jake has been tragically taken from us. Jake was beautiful inside and out.

"He was loved so very very much by all his family and those close to him.”

Another passenger in the car, William Smedley (18), also died in the crash.

A third man was also taken to hospital, but his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

A 19-year-old woman who was driving the other car wasn't hurt.
