Appeal after two Chihuahuas are stolen from Canal Boat

The two Chihuahuas stolen from a canal boat in Hertfordshire

Two Chihuahuas have been stolen from a boat on the Grand Union Canal in Hertfordshire.

Tink, a black and white female with short hair, and Archie, a long-haired blonde male, were taken from the vessel while it was moored at a marina.

The thieves gained access to the boat while it was moored near the Cowroast Marina between Berkhamsted and Tring, between 10am on January 3 and 12.15am on January 4.

The owner is extremely upset and is keen to be reunited with the dogs as soon as possible.

I would ask anyone who thinks they may have come across these dogs to please contact police.
