Series of crashes cause severe delays on A14

A series of crashes on the A14 have led to long delays for drivers in Cambridgeshire.

A lorry was involved in the first crash which closed a lane on the westbound carriageway at junction 23 near Huntingdon.

A second crash between two cars and a lorry caused disruption on the westbound carriageway near St Ives.

There were reports of delays of three hours for some drivers.

Meanwhile a lane had to be closed near Newmarket after a petrol tanker left the road.
