Norfolk comedian Ben Langley gets standing ovation at Britain's Got Talent audition

A Norfolk comedian wowed judges on Britain's Got Talent last night - getting through to the next stage of the competition.

Ben Langley, who lives near Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, has been writing and starring in Norwich Theatre Royal's annual pantomimes for the last two decades as well as performing all around the world.

Last night, as the episode was screened on ITV, he got a standing ovation from the chuckling BGT judges thanks to his misheard song lyrics.

Following the broadcast, Mr Langley tweeted from Kultur Pur Festival in Germany, where he is performing, to say: "I am totally overwhelmed by the judges reactions and the love and support on Twitter and Facebook. #ILoveNorfolk"

Britain's Got Talent will be repeated on ITV2 at 3.50pm on Sunday. It first airs each Saturday night on ITV.
