A 35 year old man's been jailed after crashing his van into the front of a thatched cottage in Bedfordshire.
Jamie Gilroy was high on cocaine when the crash happened in October last year.
Luton Crown Court heard he crashed through a hedge before embedding his Berlingo van into the front of the 16th century listed cottage at Maulden near Ampthill.
Repairs cost more than £20,000. Gilroy has been jailed for 14 months and banned from driving for 5 years.
The judge told him he caused a very serious accident which left the victims with cost and emotional trauma and that "at his age he ought to know better".
