New coastal path for west Cumbria

The whole of West Cumbria's coast will soon be opened up to walkers. It's all part of a plan to make the entire English coastline accessible to the public.

Currently only some parts are open but plans are now on show to see how the area between Allonby and Whitehaven will link up.

Natural England will be consulting on the proposed route until August 3rd. To see the route and leave your views click here.
