Lee Rielly and friends are filming an 80-minute horror movie

A teenager from west Cumbria is spending his summer holiday directing his first feature film.

Award winner Lee decided to turn his short horror film into an 80-minute epic after receiving a Royal Television Society award for his efforts on 'Goodbye Dad'.

'Greenwood Manor' tells the story of a boy who's parent's die in a car crash. He is forced to go and live with his aunt and uncle at their home, which at first seems like a normal house. As the the story progresses the movie turns into a horror flick.

Filming is taking place at Tallentire Hall near Cockermouth, with the lead roles being taken by local teenagers Calum Macgregor, and Jessie Cassidy.

Lee hopes to have the film finished by the end of September and is planning a red carpet premiere.
