She was the inspirational fund raiser who captured the heart of a nation. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Jane Tomlinson dedicated her remaining life to completing extraordinary challenges - raising £1.85 million - before she died in 2007.
Not content with running the London Marathon 3 times, she also did the London Triathlon twice as well as cycling across Europe and America.
This weekend her incredible legacy is being remembered in Cumbria, as thousands take to the fells for the Lake District Walking Festival. Walkers have the choice of different distances - all taking in the scenery around Windermere.
As well as raising money for Jane's charity, money will also go to local projects such as Fix the Fells that help protect and look after the natural landscape.
