Proposals to cut number of MPs in Scotland

Proposals to cut the number of MPs in Scotland have been branded a complete waste of taxpayers money by one local MP.

Dumfries and Galloway's Russell Brown says nearly £12 million has been spent on a review into boundary changes published today.

The tweaks could mean trouble for Scotland's only Tory MP David Mundell if they go ahead, but the Liberal Democrats say they'll refuse to vote them through.
