Zoko to make Brunton Park return
Competition: League One
Venue: Brunton Park
Kick-off: Sat 13 Oct, 3pm
Former Carlisle favourite Francois Zoko is set to make his return to Brunton Park on Saturday with Notts County.
The Ivorian spent two seasons with the Cumbrians before leaving the club for their League One rivals in the summer. Now the 29-year-old, who brought many happy memories for the Warwick Road End, could return to haunt his former employers.
Speaking ahead of the match, Carlisle boss Greg Abbott said: "Nobody knows how he's going to play. I still, to this day, don't know if he's going to be Premier League or Conference.
"He's 'Mr Consistently Inconsistent', but on his day there's not many better in this league.
"He's certainly a talent. An absolute talent. I think everybody enjoyed him, and we enjoyed working with him."
Carlisle are currently 12th in the table, but could make it back-to-back wins after last weekend's victory at Walsall.
TEAM NEWS
Midfielder JP McGovern (hernia) and striker Rory Loy (broken leg) are both out. Meanwhile, it could be Joe Garner's last appearance for the club with his month-long loan move from Watford due to end.
