Christmas comes earlier for Newton Stewart farmer
A Christmas tree grower from Dumfries and Galloway has won the top prize in a national tree competition.
He'll now deliver a 16 foot 6 inches tree to Number 10 Downing Street where it will remain over the Christmas period.
Mike Craig, from Creetown, Newton Stewart, will now deliver a 16 foot 6 inches tree to Number 10 Downing Street where it will remain throughout the festive season.

Mr Craig won the title of 'Champion Christmas Tree Grower 2012' at the 14th Annual British Christmas Tree Growers Association Competition.

He'll deliver his huge tree to 10 Downing Street in December, where it'll take residence outside the front door.
