Competition: npower League One
Venue: Glanford Park
Kick-off: Tuesday 12th February, 7:45pm
Carlisle United could make it three league wins in a row when they travel to Scunthorpe tonight.
The Blues have been in fine form recently, taking 13 points from a possible 15. That run has moved them nine points clear of the relegation zone, and makes an end of season surge towards the top-half of the table a real possibility.
Speaking ahead of this evening's match at Glanford Park, Carlisle boss Greg Abbott said:
– Greg Abbott, Carlisle United Manager
"By the end of the week - if we have a successful week - we might be sitting in a real tidy position thinking, 'You never know'.
"But we need to put a 10 to 15 game run together now to get us where I think we need to be and where I want us to go, and we'll see what happens."
Greg Abbott has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to Scunthorpe. Midfielder Chris Chantler has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle problem. Striker Rory Loy, who marked his return to action with a goal in the 2-1 win over Stevenage, is expected to retain his place among the starting XI.
