Rain spreading from the west today, very windy.

Saturday:

Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the west will spread east, reaching all parts by midday, becoming heavy and persistent over Dumfries and Galloway and Cumbria. Southerly winds strengthening, with severe gales in west, especially along the Solway coast. Maximum Temperature 11 °C.

Overnight:

Rain soon clearing, then clear spells overnight with showers, mainly in the west, although a few feeding further east during the early hours. Winds veering southwesterly and easing. Minimum Temperature 2 °C.

Sunday:

A bright start as any showers die out, then rain spreading from the west during the afternoon, heavy at times. Southerly winds strengthening. Maximum Temperature 11 °C.
