A band of rain by Sunday afternoon will bring a further 10 to 20mm of rainfall onto already saturated ground.
The rain, accompanied by strong to gale force winds, will become heavy for a time before clearing away before midnight.
From 3am the Met Office have issued a 'Be Aware' warning for the coastline for very strong winds.
Winds in the Irish Sea could possibly gust 60-70mph for a short time. High winds combined with high tides will bring large waves and rough seas and the risk of coastal flooding.
The public should be aware of the dangers of waves crashing onshore and over topping shore lines and sea fronts
