A band of rain will move east across the UK during Sunday, followed by clearing skies and light winds across many areas of the Border region later on Sunday night. This will lead to frost and ice into Monday morning with the risk of patchy freezing fog developing. The warning is currently in place for Dumfries & Galloway and Cumbria.
Monday morning commuters are advised to take extra time and care with their journey into work. Ice on untreated surfaces will make for difficult and dangerous driving in places - as well as poor visibility where freezing fog patches linger.
