Yesterday, temperatures peaked at 21c through parts of the Border region.
Values today climbed to 18c by midday, and steadily rose to 20c by 1pm in Bulmer.
There is the potential for the mercury to climb by another degree or two during the next hour or so, so it looks like we may be on course to match or pip Friday's top temperature.
Plenty of sun around the region for the remainder of Saturday, but always cloudier in the NW of the region and across the Isle of Man; mostly cloudy here but we can't rule out an odd shower through Dumfries and Galloway. Breezy SW'erly through the Irish Sea, gentle winds elsewhere, best of any sunshine through the east and SE of the region.
