Monday through the Border region

A much drier, brighter day today, but still some showers around, a few of which could prove heavy, with hail and thunder this afternoon. Brisk winds continue, gusts of 30-40mph, but at least any showers will blow through quite quickly! Slightly better temperatures than Sunday, up a degree or so to around 18c, so feeling fairly decent in any sunny spells inbetween the showers and out of the wind.

Monday sunrise: 5.39am - sunset: 8.54pm.

Looks like the new week remains unsettled until Friday. Winds ease down later on Wednesday into Thursday.
