Corporal David Williams Credit: ITV Border

Corporal David Williams, from Eyemouth, was one of 179 British soldiers who died during the Iraq war.

Today, the Chilcot Inquiry delivered a scathing verdict on the Blair-led government's justification for military intervention, as well as their planning for the conflict and aftermath.

Reacting to the publication of the Inquiry, Corporal Williams's mother, Evelyn Williams, said she wants to see former prime minister Tony Blair brought to account for his actions.

I think something should happen. He should be brought to account. But I don't know if that will happen.

Yes, I would like to see him [Tony Blair] brought to court and tried.
